What are your Delivery
Times ? |
Delivery times are Tuesdays or Fridays,
until 9pm in the evening.
Saturday deliveries are down to each delivery driver and their personal
circumstances. |
Do you deliver on Bank Holidays
? |
Bank Holidays are not normally delivery days, (we need a break as well.) |
I Received a "Failed Delivery Note" - What Do I Do
? |
The "Failed Delivery Note" normally tells you what the delivery driver has decided to do...
Normally we will try to deliver your goods again as soon as possible, unless it is a Friday, when the driver will try again on
Tuesday (unless its a Bank Holiday.)
If the driver has tried a number of times, you will have to contact us and give a time when you will be present to receive the goods.
If for some reason you cannot be around, we are happy for you to arrange delivery to a friend or neighbour, we can do this because as the goods are not yet paid for, the person receiving them will be aware because they have to pay us. (Obviously you would have given them the money.) |
Why do I have to give my
Details ? |
We need your Details because:
1: obviously we need to deliver it to you.
2: your ID code is constructed from your Postcode.
3: your Phone number is in case of any delivery problems, (normally never
used.)
4: your email address is to notify you of any rare hiccups encountered during your order process.
5: a referrers code is for any recommendations you've made so that we can pay
you. |
Why do I have to give my
Date of Birth ? |
We need your "Date of Birth"
because your referral ID code is constructed from it, we use the 1st 3
letters of your Surname & the Date + Month in the making
your unique ID code. |
What happens if I refuse to give my
Date of Birth ? |
We will then use the date you
registered with us, this will not be as memorable as your "Date of Birth"
so if you want credit for telling someone about cds2u you will have to memorize
this new code. |
Why can't we pay by cheque
or credit/debit card ? |
Because cheques take up to 6 working days
to clear, and business' are charged up to 70p per cheque, for cards we
are charged a fee on each transaction. Both of these would raise our
costs - meaning CD & DVD prices would have to be higher. |
Once you become a regular
customer, we can take cheques, please ask for further information. |
Why do we have to have the
payment ready for the delivery driver ? |
The delivery driver is
instructed
to simply swap the goods for the money, if there is
any reason for delay the driver is instructed to leave a "Failed
Delivery Note" and continue with their scheduled deliveries. |

The Totals are not being
displayed, what's wrong ? |
You probably have Cookies (see

features like JavaScript at Installation time. If you want to keep JavaScript
and/or cookies switched off for whatever reason, then you will have to phone your

How much does it cost to
call your "08700 921141" phone number ? |
The "national" call
rate for "087009~~" numbers is 5p per min (Mon-Fri 6am-6pm), |
this is less than the normal "national" call
rate of 8p per min. (BT rates) |
evening rate is 2.5p per min
& weekend rate is 2p per min. (BT rates) |
The reason for using this
number is that it remains the same wherever it is answered, and if
offices or warehouse are moved, the number does not need to be changed. |
I have noticed that the
10ths of a penny are not displayed on the shopping cart, or are a
different price - will it affect my
order ? |
No. |
We keep the display of 10ths
of a penny switched off on the Shopping cart pages, this saves having a
large quantity of numbers displayed, making it difficult to read. |
During the display of the shopping carts, all costs are displayed in
£'s and pence, this means that the displayed figure has to be rounded
to the nearest whole pence, it does not affect the value or
total of the order in any way at all. |
All totals are correctly
added so that the final total will be within half a penny, (unless you
know how to pay us less than a penny, if so please let us know.) |
